My art show was downtown lastnight at Carolina Gallery. I chose to create an art show featuring 11 of my works from the past year or two. It was my art teacher's idea, and at first I wasn't sure that I liked it because I hate being the center of attention and it's hard for me to just put my work out like that for the public to view. But I decided to do it and I'm glad I chose that as my Senior project. If I could do it over again, I would choose to do the exact same thing.

It was fun and I learned a lot more about painting and framing. I feel that it gave me more experience as well as confidence too. It was kind of awkward to have to talk to everyone during the show for me, 'cause I'm kind of an introvert, but I still enjoyed it and was pleased with how many people came.

I might sell a couple of the paintings.

I'll have pictures up of all the art I put in the show as soon as I get it back from the gallery.
